Hello from the distant USA. I have a quick question. Have any of you lucky owners of STi Ver 5 Impreza's installed different springs for lowering/handling purposes? Which ones? How do you like them? Me? No, I don't have an STi Ver 5. I have one of those 2.5L NA Impreza's. I fitted it with Ver 5 Suspension. I love it and all, but I want to lower it about an inch (25mm). Thanks, guys. Keep those WRX's sideways.

I'm not aware of anyone with an Sti V over here who has changed the suspension yet.

There are quite a few with version III and IV who have gone for the adjustable Leda suspension from Scoobysport, which you can adjust the ride height to suit your requirements, and they all seem happy with it. There are even two 22B owners with it fitted (and I was in one of them today ), and the car did feel very well sorted, with almost no noticable body roll, but even with the big 17 inch wheels the ride was quite compliant. I was most impressed.
