I want a rear spoiler and want to know if it is necessary to drill extra holes, can I use a spoiler that fits into the existing holes no problem. I know of a number of places selling both, but want to know which is the best option?

You will have to be careful on the type of spoiler you want, as some of them wont line up with the original holes and they supply you with a "blanking mask" which for want of better words is a shaped plate, you also have to paint body colour, so as to cover up the "unwanted holes", then simply attatch the new spoiler with the remaining holes.
I have seen one of these conversions and to be perfectly honest, they look absolute "Pants" !! :-(
Sorry to have to say that, but have to be truthful.

Drmotorsport sells a rear spoiler that fits directly into existing holes without driling and uses the factory rear stop while it's reasonable cheap and comes painted in your color if you are interested.
