Any one had a standard UK STi cut out in corners, mine has a consistent cut of fuel or ignition for upto 2 seconds after a right then left direction change, it's always as the car goes left.Speeds as low as 40 mph, eg exiting roundabouts.
Car same with full tank, fuel cap of, no loose wires or plugs, engine levered left and right with big bar, no fault found.

Either that or a faulty "yaw" sensor, detecting too much cornering g force. Suggest it see's the dealer a bit promptly, otherwise might have a 40 tonner following you into the same island and 2 seconds is not a long time to ask him to stop in!

I had the same problem on my STi7 after having an uprated fuel pump fitted by PE as part of a remap etc. Eventually I discovered that an Evo8 fuel filter had been fitted to the pump which is about a third of the length of the Sti7 one. Since the correct filter was fitted I have had no problems at all, even when driving with the fuel warning light on.

Therefore I would recommend that you check the fuel filter on your car - it may be the wrong one, installed incorrectly or partially blocked.

Fuel filter very full of muck, now cleaned, also found gearbox harness in a very sorry state from close contact with the turbo, (possable missing lower heat sheild and broken harness clips after gearbox repairs by others)my dealer says there is a neutral ident feed to the ECU which could cause a cut too.
Castle Combe tomorrow should show how it's doing.

Looks like it was either the fuel filter or the dodgey gearbox loom, the car performed well all day at Castle Combe, many thanks for all comments on this.
