Hi guys,
After reading the FAQ, I suspect the wastegate solenoid to be sticking on MY93 WRX. I know it tells you how to clean it out, by pulling off the T-shape supply, and spraying with aerosol electrical cleaner, but can anyone give a little more detail as to where it is actually located under the bonnet. I suspect it is near the actuator? Cheers
Proby.

P.S. Has anyone fitted a Bailey Motorsport Dump Valve? (EVO type, external atmosphere dump) and had any problems?

I'm not sure about MY93 but on later cars I think you will find the solenoid on a metal bracket fited to the RH strut tower. The WG solenoid is the unit mounted on rubber isolation bushes and it will have two pipes connected to it. One of the pipes will go to a T-piece at the turbo WG port. The unit on the bracket with only one pipe connected to it is the MAP sensor.
