I've just had my car in for it's 15,000 mile service (MY98), when I got it back I noticed a VERY annoying rattle. I've managed to pin it down to the front passanger seat (no rattle when someone is sitting in it, and makes a loud rattle if you hit the front of the seat). They don't remove the seats do they? I did ask my dealer to fix the passanger door sill which had popped out, but this wouldn't mean removing the seat would it?

Anyone else had a seat rattle?

You're not the only one with a seat rattle. I too have one and it comes from the the front passenger seat. Like you said, it only rattles when nobody is sat in it. I have managed to cure it by pulling the seat adjuster so that the seat folds completely forward and then setting the seat back to its original position. I found this out by chance when I was fitting my speakers and I wanted some more room in the back. But since my girlfriend has adjusted it several times, it has now started to rattle again. I'll have to do mine again now! It's something I'll mention when I have my first proper service along with some other things. Good luck!
