hey im in the states here, and have a question for u guys whove had WRX's since hte beginning of time.

ive got a 93 impreza bodyshell and im running a 94 JDM WRX trans. ive got the stock shifterlinkage at this moment, and im wondering what linkages will fit my trans. ive heard a difernance from 97+, the STI short shift linkage is readily availible to fit the USDM GDA WRX, and ive heard it fits the GC8 too, but will it fit my older style turbo transmission?

Apparently the same shift system will fit any 5 speed linkage, even up to and including the 03 my's. It is only the 6 speed system that is different due to the reverse position and locking collar.
