I've been looking round for some time for anew set of wheels, I would like to go p a size to 7*17's. However, there seem to be differing opinions to the 'offset' of non Subaru or Prodrive wheels. My prefered choice would be a set of 'Motorsport Raceline RL-7's' (50mm Offset) as seen in November issue of Fast Car magazine page 130 with a set of 215/45/ZR17 S02's. I would appreciate anyones opinion of this. Does the extra width in tyre negate the effect of the incorrect offset? Thanks for any help.

With a 50mm offset, they will fit fine without handling/clearance problems.

The tyres are the correct size, as the S-02s aren't made in 205/45 x 17 (only P-Zeros are!)

Nice wheels and very nice tyres.

PS you could fit 215/45 x 17 tyres if you wished. They are still within reasonable rolling circumference limits.
