Hello,

Could someone please advise me what i should do to remap MY99 Sti5. It has a full decat, k&n, uprated fuel pump and still on standard jap ECU.

I have seen remaps cost £350 inc rolling road and some people say they can cost £600-£700. The car is being used for track days and i want it reliable as possible.

Please tell me what to do, cause i wanna get it right 1st time
Thanks

I have Apexi power FC (full replacement ECU) and Apexi boost controller in my RB5 (my99) it is definately not the cheapest way to go (possibly the most expensive!!!) but I have several other mods (some fitted, some sat in the corner waiting) I suppose what ECU you have fitted depends on how modified the rest of the engine is going to be. I am (when finished) going to be fairly well modified and the Apexi is very flexible and gives me accurate control of what i've got.

Ecutek might be the way to go. They can remap the factory ECU to suit your mods and UK fuels. IMO very good value for money.

About £750-£800 for the ECU and another £300 for mapping.
