Either
a)Nothing
b)It would sit there churning over on the starter motor with the CEL light on and no spark
c)It would fire, and sit there coughing and banging til you turned it off.
d)You might not be able to due to physical connector mismatch
The one thing it wouldn't do is run properly, if that's what you were getting at.

speaking from very recent experience.
connected up ok.
turn key - check engine light flashes constantly.
car turns over but won't fire. therefore useless.
apparently the sti's have different sensors which affect the mapping.
cheers

Aha, so option (b) it is then.
As you say, the STi's have additional (charge temp, and MAP IIRC) sensors, without which the ECU won't play ball.
