I've managed to screw up the ECU on my 94 WRX wagon, does anybody have a spare one they could flog me? It was a V9 unit that was in there not sure if it has to be that exact same model to work???

Try Grade A breakers and if no luck there, E mail me as per profile, and I'll send you a list of UK Subaru breakers.

Try townendgarage they list all bits with prices don't know how to do a link

Not sure what would happen if i put an RA ECU in. My wagon got the smaller td04 blower and I'm pretty sure an RA would have a td05. Might not make much odds but don't know

I dont think it will make much of a difference, but it would be worth checking with a proper guru, Im only a mortal at the moment

How have you managed to bugger it up? I blew one chip on my wrx ecu and bought another so may be able to make a good one from the old one depending on what you have done to yours.

I was at grade A the other week and they had loads of ECU's so im sure they will have one to fit your car.

I got impatient waiting for sombody with the right skills to solder in my scooby ecu so tried to do it my self....at first it wouldn't start....then after some more soldering it starts runs ok sometimes, then it'll sunddenly loose power tick over goes mad etc. All self inflicted

Must ad though, thumbs up for the scooby ecu, when the car actually decides to run, she's damned quick. Feels like its not far off my mates M3 evo.....
