can small dents in the wing be just pushed out?

as above, anyone done it without knackering the paint etc?
edited to add that i mean would 'joe public' be able to do it or is it a dentmaster type of job?

Yes. All depends where they are and what shape of course, but I've got rid of one in the past by just unhooking the arch liner and pushing it out.
