Ive currently got a modified wrx and i checked the gearbox oil dipstick and its low. what oil should i add and where do i top it up?

Any quality 75w/90 gearbox oil will be okay for topping up.

You fill the box through the dipstick hole. Removing the intercooler is the best way to gain access, but failing that, attaching a flexible funnel, or normal funnel with a length of pipe attached, will do the job.

Get a litre plastic bottle of 75w/90 gearbox oil. Use a reputable brand. Try Halfords or most motor factors. Consider a complete oil change for gearbox and back axle to fully synthetic. Fill through the dipstick tube as stated but do not remove the TMIC. No need.

thanks, dont need to remove intercooler anyway as its front mounted
