Just got my first Impreza, 52 STI in blue with 11,000 miles. Absolutely love the thing, only had it a couple of weeks. Just got some questions, apologies if they are trivial or have been asked a 1000 times before!!

a) The brakes 'chirp' when lightly applied - is this normal?
b) Whats the optimum start - revs wise?
c) Can/should I replace the existing dump valve - 'to atmosphere' type - any recommendations for a nice sounding one?
d) How long d otyres last when being driven normally as I seem to need a new front set already (assume they are originals from when built)
e) At what revs does the turbo begin to spin up at?
f) They're seems to be a conflict of bhp on my car. Some magazines say its 265 and others says its 276. The garage that sold it quoted 276 too? Any ideas?
