Question

Hi, seen a couple of uk scoobs for sale, MY99/00's going for around £9-10K. They have all done between 60 and 80k miles but one of them has had a full engine rebuild. It has had a genuine subaru short block etc and i have seen the reciepts for it. This seems to be the nicest one of the 3 i've looked at and i was wondering what peoples thoughts of a rebuild were??? I'm sort of looking at it in a good way because it should be like a new engine but should the price be the same as the others? should it cost me more or less than the the other 2 cars?? just looking for your thoughts guys??

Personally i woudl see it as a good point mate, there have been a few failures of engines in that particular MY so IMHO you would probably be better off with the car that has a rebuilt engine.
I must add though, on the other hand it would not put me off buying one that has not had a rebuild, i would just see the rebuild as a plus point.
Also check the condition of the rest of the car, i know it is hard to tell but look out for tell tale signs of neglect or harsh treatment just incase.
