Do you find that your unit gives a lot of false alarms?
I was driving up the M4o last week from Salisbury to Coventry and the thing signalled a "fixed", ie Gatso or Tuvelo camera ahead on at least four occasions, after about 5 seconds of beeping it just stopped, and needless to say there was no camera in sight!
I have recently downloaded the latest sites.
I tried emailing blackspot but they didnt bother replying, wich did not impress me much.

Are you crossing over or under other roads? As it doesn't seem to be elevation sensitive it might be reading alerts on a road below or above you. Sorry, don't know the peice of road you are talking about.

Sometimes the database still has the odd camera that might have been there during the odd stint of roadworks.

If you're happy that the camera is no longer there (make sure there are no other possibilities though - such as other roads either over or under the motorway) you can delete the alarm location. (check your handbook for exact instructions)
