Over the past couple of days the car has been producing a funny smell when hot and it is very noticable in the cabin when sat in trafic. I thought it was some new mesh that I had put behind the bonnet scoop getting too hot but I removed it earlier and the smell has returned on my way back from Tesco! It does not smell like burning but is quite similar - my mrs says it smells like speedway but its so long since I have been I cant remember.

I have checked the engine bay and cant see any hoses touching anything they shouldn't etc but I am worried - Any ideas?

If you look down near the turbo you may see smoke coming up from there? Ive been told alot of scooby's do this for some reason. Its cos oil drops onto the down pipe and you get the smell of burnt oil coming through the air vents.
