boost gauge hose

can anyone help me , ive got a boost gauge to fit today to my 95 wrx , can anyone tell me the best place to pass the hose through the bulk head ,and were exactly do i connect the hose to in the engine bay , thanx

Hi

I found the best place to passit through the bulkhead is through on of the grommet/bungs in the drivers footwell ( not too close to the turbo!!! or it will get very hot!).

On the 98 and 00 models there is a bung (sealed off piece of tube) on top of the inlet manifold near where the coil packs sit. Take this off and there is the right sized bit of pipe sticking out just ready for you boost gauge pipe..... it is as if it was designed for the job!

Not sure of the lay out of a 95 but hope this helps.

ps the easiest pickup for the lighting circuit I fould was behind the stereo, it is purple if I remember correctly and easy to get at.

well theres three pipes on the manifold the left one to the dump valve and the other two go to boost solenoid and somwere were i cant see were would i connect hose
