Hi All
Just wondering how safe is the go fast bits manual boost controll?
I get conflicting thoughts from dealers and other scooby owners.
Im running factory standard 0.9 bar but one to push it to 1bar or
even 1.1 bar.
My car is a my98 GT, it has a freeflow exhaust, replacement K&N air filter, boost gauge(obviously otherwise i wouldn't even consider a manual BC), water spray intercooler, upgraded dump valves ...
Also any thoughts on what upgrades i should do next ?? :>
Thanks

Without wanting to put too many words in Si's mouth, yes. It's well worth ditching the crappy plastic turbo to I/C pipe for the silicone Samco one. Standard part has a tendency to split even under standard boost conditions, let alone raised...
You should be able to get the Samco set (which includes the intercooler Y-pipe, intercooler to throttle body pipe and dumpvalve return pipe) for around £50, assuming you're in the UK.
