Question

I'm thinking of buying a new scoob from trade sales, but as far as I know they are euro imports. will this cause any probs for insurance and waranty? and are they the same spec as the UK wrx's?

one point to check is "where are they imported from?" - outside
the E.u. (e.g. - cyprus/malta) and you will have problems with
insurance/servicing

if european vehicle, you will get Uk 1 yr warranty,once "registered" with Subaru UK, but all Non EC countries supplied cars are only covered by the country purchased from.
The warranty side of things is a minefield, so be very careful as it can prove very expensive as even Holland or Belgium expect YOU topay for some warranty repairs first, then, if they accept the claim THEN do you get your money back.

Trade sales in Slough are Cypriot cars. I'm just around the corner so took a look, but steered clear once they told me that, as insurance will be more expensive.

They also have no alarm or warranty, so thats extra money right there.
