Setting up P1 suspension
#1
Hi all.
Can someone plz help me out. I have avo coil overs on my p1 and I want to set it up correctly. I bought the car with these on and do not have the original suspension. All I want to do is set the P1 up so it looks original rather than lowered. Can someone plz tell the distance between the tyre and wheel arch for both front and back with original suspension.
Why would someone want to upgrade to AVO suspension when the STi suspension is adequate...? I've heard also that the AVO suspension are ****, is this correct.
Many thanks
Kev

Scoobykev, My Type R came over from the east with fully adjustable Tein suspension and although impresive on flat surfaces it is far far too hard for UK roads.
I recently had all the geometry set up at the Powerstation along with the bumpsteer mod and have to say it has completely transformed the handling

Thx for the quick response m8
I'm looking at that mod as we speak. At the moment what I'd like to do is set the car up so it looks as standard, it seems be be slightly lower at the the front, not too sure about the rear though.
Your right about the suspensoin being hard though, went for a little play the other night and was bouncing around. Maybe the damping needs to be adjusted, haven't checked the rear cus its hard to get to apparently.

Edited to give an example of the car
