After fitting a scorpian back box to MY93 WRX i am dissapointed by the sound, there isn't much of an improvement which i am surprised about after having a scorpion system on other cars. Is this because of the cats and if so would the center pipe bypassing one of the cats make a difference?

Replacing the centre should gain you some extra power 5-10 bhp but for good power gains & noise go the full decat route.Forgot to say full decat will give faster spool up time you should get full boost @ 500rpm less
