Question

Anyone help me please with the size of bolts needed?

Looking to change some of the rusted bolts in the engine bay

i.e. the two bolts that hold washer bottle on, 12mm head bolts on the inlet manifold, bolts for the bracket that holds the boost solinoid....

I know they all use a 12mm spanner, but i'm sure that is not their size?

Got a catologe in front of me, all sizes are in metric, not bothered about lenght, will cut if nessesary, just don't know the correct thread??

Some of the sizes listed are

M4 x 16
M5 x 12
M5 x 20
M6 x 12
M6 x 20

Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance

washer bottle and solenoid bracket ones are M6, probably about 16mm long, they both have a 10mm head. The inlet manifold bolts are M8, but beware, on the early phase 1 manifold the inside 4 are longer than the outside, they normally have a 12mm head, which is the Jap standard, but ISO would normally be 13mm heads.
