57i is about as safe as it gets! I'd say no more likely to affect the MAF than the standard setup. Provided you don't **** the MAF when installing the thing, of course
They sound good, too! They do flow a lot of air, so it would be worth checking out with the experts whether your car would be running too lean, or not.
It does make the car run leaner at points, yes, but doesn't cause the MAF to misread (the reason some kits cause the problem is they change the airflow characteristics past the MAF - the 57i doesn't appear to).
Shouldn't cause any problems unless stacked up with too many other mods
