Having problems when coming to a stop, every time I change down gears at low revs the car is almost cutting out, I've just fitted a Blitz Dump valve and have tried to adjust it by turning the screw on the top clockwise this has not worked and the car is popping and farting on slowing down. Does anyone have a remedy for this problem?(MY98)

basically it sounds like that the dump vavle is still opening on idle. This would cause the irractic idling. A stiffer spring is needed. Has it got an adjustment to increase the tension ?

I was warned of this problem when fitting a d/v and decided against it.
