i have heard of several ways to do this

i own a jap import 1995 wrx type ra.

under the steering colum there are 2 sets of connectors

2 black plugs
2 green plugs

is this the right way to do it

connect the black plugs togeter
connect the green plugs

disconnect the battery for a few hours

start engine with connectors disconnected as normal

let idle for 15 mins

take it for a hard drive

is that correct
