hi i am about to fit a hybrid dawes device to my 1995 type ra.
i have a few questions

1.will it produce boost spikes like a bleed valve ,is it safe to use as long as i dont go above a safe limit
2.what is the safe limit for boost ,is 1.2 bar to high with opti max
3.what octane booster should i use
4.how much power gains should i expect to see

 

You will find that you can only raise the boost to the factory limit which is just over 1bar IIRC, when you raise the boost above the limit you will get fuel cut.
