Hi can any of you ECU experts help me out. I've been offered a AE801 board in a green labelled AE802 case. How can I verify that I'm not just buying an AE802? Ive been supplied with the part number off the board if it's any use, its A19-001 DS2.
Many thanks.

Plug it into a Select Monitor or Delta Dash. Only way AFAIK.

Thanks John, I've no access to those but it's reasonably priced so I'm taking the chance. Main reason for buying is to try get rid of the slight surging problem that alot of folks blame on the 802. Worst case is that I'll end up with a spare ECU.
Cheers.

The full board number of a "known" AE801/781 is A19-001 DS2 [N], so unless that [N] on the end means something significant, it looks like you've got a real one. Just check the number of your 802 to be certain
