Engine mods advice please

I have an MY00 Turbo which is bog standard engine wise, but I have access to an STi6 engine so what I want to know is, can I swap the STi6 VFxx turbo for my TD04 without any problems?
can I fit the STi6 injectors without any problems or will I need to upgrade my intercooler and dumpvalve?
Will the STi6 heads fit on my engine if so will it make any difference, are the Camshafts on the STi6 better than mine or the same?
What is different about the STi6 engine from my MY00 engine?
Also I have already changed my DP to a scoobysport one so will the STI6 turbo fit to it?
Cheers

shhhhh I don't think the powers that be have noticed me yet I am trying to keep a low profile and am trying to bring down the system from within
but saying that can anyone answer my question or not?
As for the STi6 engine it currently belongs to my dealer who got it from his dealer in Holland does that clear things up a bit

You can use all of the parts listed. The work would have to be done in conjunction with a remap as the standard ECU will get very confused. The injectors, especially, will be firing at completely the wrong durations and will wash the bores, unless the fuelling tables are rewritten.
The 6 cams are a different profile, as the 6 pistons are a lower compression design and can take more charge filling.

Cheers Pete a constructive reply I new I could rely on you
I am suprised no one said just drop the 6 engine in and throw the old one away.
The problem I have is getting the remap done as nobody over here can do it AFAIK.
What harm will it do to just swap the turbo unit over to start with? will a remap still be necersary?
Cheers

Hi Wurzel
Mark at EMS is probably your best best. He is an authorised EcuTek mapper and can remap your existing ECU to suit the new parts. Mark is very knowledgable.
You can see all of the approved EcuTek installers at http://www.ecutek.co.uk/pricing/ and others may be nearer. Some are listed as 2001 onwards but may now have the ability to do 99/00 cars too. Its worth asking them.

Oops... forgot about the turbo.
The wastegate duty maps for the TD04 won't work on the VF28. The best you could hope for would be unstable boost around the same target boost values but it won't be nice to drive and certainly won't be optimal.
