i read on a post that some oils can cause engine failure.
i want to know what oil the experts suggest.

You'd have to choose a really bad oil for it to directly cause engine failure. In many cases the cause of failure shortly after an oil change is bad oilchange procedure itself. There's a thread going in General Technical that details how to do it properly.
As for which oils to use, unless your engine is within the first 10,000 or so miles of its life, go for a quality full synthetic. There are a few good ones, not least Mobil 1 Motorsport 15/50, Motul 300V 15/50, Castrol RS 10/60 etc. etc.
Remote filter - what exactly do you mean? Where's it been relocated to? Couldn't say whether it'd have the standard filter element on it without actually looking at the thing, but as a general point, anything that adds unnecessarily to the oil capacity is not a good thing.
If you've bought a car with an oil cooler or some similar gubbins on it, unless you spend loads of time on track, TBH you're probably better off removing it and going back to the standard system with the inline water-oil heat exchanger.

I have an ecotek and am happy with it! for £48.99 you cant go wrong.
Best bet is if you have any questions post them up on their forum!
They do a 30 day money back if your not happy with the device! So at the end of the day if it doesnt lower your emissions then you can send it back! The company its self is spot on.. they are really helpful! Best company I have bought from for a long while!!
