I am currently experiencing some probs with starting and am in the midst of purchasing a replacement crank sensor for MY93 WRX. However, I thought I'd try giving the existing one a clean (you never know) but having unbolted it I can't seem to remove the actual sensor from its mount ?? I don't want to put too much pressure on it as I'm worried the bloody thing might break. anyone else experienced this ? and if so any tips on removing it.

They are quite tight, you may need to get the engine hot before the sensor will loosen, also sometimes if you tighten it a little first then it will undo a little easier
