Dario don't forget 3 year warranty. What price that eh?
Also I don't imagine a high flow Cat(centre)comes cheap.

This has been spoken about lots. There are cheaper ways to get similar power gains. You can bung on a mix of pipes & back boxes & filters & pull out the cats & turn this up a bit & that down a bit.

But come MOT time will it give you sleepless nights?

Will you get a reasonable return on your mods at resale time?

Why bother with all that aggro when all the experimenting has been done for you.All the trial & error & road testing to get a compatable mix of mods has been done at Prodrive's expense.

You pays yer money, you make yer choice. There is no wrong or right answer.Just what suits you.

Mark

Thanks - so you definetly don't get a new restrictor in the T pipe that comes from the actuator?

Regards

You do if it's an STi8 PPP - they come with a freeflow downpipe catalyst and the all important restrictor!

The WRX 03 comes with a new rear/centre pipe too.

Prodrive Performance Package.
On an 03 WRX the fuel pump is not changed.
These are the bits that are replaced by the kit.

Yeh I thought that before I saw the replaced parts.Apparently enough "fueling" is allowed by the standard set-up to cope with the extra power on the 03 WRX.

The 03 STi must have been nearer the limit before the PPP power hike.So needed the pump upgrade.

I thought that proper ECUTEK remap on STI ppp was taking care of possible boost spikes without changing restrictor. Could someone who knows specifications of ppp for new age STI, post whether the package has got a new restrictor or not? A word of wisdom from Prodrive' guys would be even better. Cheers
