There was a thread on the NI section about powerflow, but I thought id share some pics.
This is only an indication of the type of work that Powerflow seem to do here, as I have no knowledge of what their work is like in England.
This seems to be what they sell as aperformance exhaust for a subaru. Not cheap either.
Yes, it is a whopping 2.25" OD. Yes, it has a varied selection of unnecessary bends. Yes, there is a squashed section to clear.....something?????? Yes, the tailpipe is actually bigger than the silencer, and Yes, it is about 2" inside the silencer.
Anyone impressed????
And if you thought that was good....wait til you see the pics of an MR2 Turbo exhaust they made....watch this space, its even better.
And NO, their work isnt cheap either. You can buy a quality exhaust for similar money.

Mmmmmmmm nice! My personal opinion of these custom exhaust companies are they are best left to Nova drivers who honestly believe that 6 tailpipes is in some way cool!!!
Wouldn't put one of those near my car thanks!

And the second addition. Still havent got the MR2 ones yet, but here are some pics of an attempt to make tubular manifolds for a V8.
The photos may not really do them justice, but believe me, they too are crap. The even painted a set, after cocking them up, and having to cut/weld bits back together, grinding it down, and trying to hide it with paint.
Note the 'smooth' 2 into 1 collectors, and those 'quality' welds.
What makes it worse, is that while they sell under the same franchise name, they were made by a different outfit.

Those are probably the most feeble efforts i'm yet to see!
I've actually made my own rear section (mid to back) exhaust sytem for my V8 lightweight Landy. Using scrap bits of exhaust pipes (out the skip) and two E-type Jag tailpipes.
And its looks far better than those efforts. And I'm very novice at welding too (you know birds nest etc. )
Makes me quite proud that my efforts are better than so called "professional." Its given me inspiration to do the front section using SD1 vitesse manifolds and twin downpipes. Apart from someone has nicked my twin outlet manifolds...doh!
