Trying to set up my Dawes boost controller, what is the boost limit for a MY98 or what is a good setting for the standard ECU.

Not too sure on a MY98, mine is a MY00 and a safe (ish) boost is 16.5 PSI or 1.1 Bar, as fuel cut comes in shortly after

Please correct me if i wrong

If I set it at 15 psi do you think this will be safe and also do I need a Lamda with a fully decated exhaust?

Again, not too sure on MY98, but my MY00 runs about 14PSI as standard, and when I put the Dawes on (which is now off the car again) it was set to 16PSI peak, and 15PSI held

I took it off again, as I didnt have a Knock Link, AFR or any other gauges cept a boost gauge, now I have Knocklink, AFR Meter (Lambda) new Boost Gauge, Oil Pressure Gauge, so i have an idea on what is going on

I have just gone full decat now, after fitting the DP at the weekend, and at some point will probably try the Dawes Again

i am running 1.1 bar held in 1st - 4th. in 5th i have to blip the throttle as i cant hold a solid 1.1 bar as fuel cut comes into play for reason. deffo need a knocklink and afr/lambdalink of some kind before you stick in a dawes device.

I think the standard ECU will start fuel cutting at just under 1.2bar.... if you really wanna start boosting high it's a good idea to get a new Map sensor
