I know there is probably a good reason for this but why does my clutch only seem to slip in higher gears i can do 6k in first and second but cant go over 80 mph!

Maybe its the torque present in higher gears causing it to slip?

got to agree with you on this 1, mine slipped the other day doing 50ish mph down the A6 just pressed the pedal to overtake a slug & the revs rose faster than norm for a sec till the clutch bit properly, i think youre prob right john, torque, how bad was yours B4 you changed it?

Thumbs up

It was intermittant really Andy, one day it would be ok (no noticable slip anyway) the next it would be slipping in 4th and 5th. Decided enough was enough when it became more frequent and interfered with a few races . With the plan of getting it Linked too, as you with TEK 3, it wouldnt have lasted 5 mins.
