take off the old, stick on the new. simple:

No, seriously, remove the old by prizing gently with screwdriver etc, or runninga alength of fishing line/dental floss behind it and "sawing" it off.
Stick new one on using new double sided sticky pads as sold for numberplates.
If you live in a "suspect" area, or leave your car in one regularly, you might like to think about Velcro! No, I AM serious. It would allow you to remove it and take it with you when you go!
