water temp guage sender unit can some 1 plz tell me where it is

 

Under the inlet manifold, there is a cast aluminium pipe that takes the water from one head to the other and the water temp sensor is on this, towards the turbo end. It has a brown triangular plug on it.

Only do the job when the engine is stone cold and you get to it from the rear side of the inlet manifold.
