Safely removing an aftermarket dump valve?

Can this be done & do you need to replace with a standard part?
Sorry don't know the aftermarket make.
Soooooosh Piiissssshhhhhh! doesn't really rock my boat & draws far too much attention from teenagers..... No offence to those who like it, just me.

June 99, swapping for my 97 on Saturday. On test drive got the feeling it was bleeding power rather than helping.

I'm sure you could sell it for an OE reirc valve + cash if you get stuck sourcing one or the dealer is charging a fortune.
