Just a quick and easy one:

Is the MAF on a 98 sti4 the same as on a 98 UK car ? It's a hot wire one I think.

I want to change it on my sti just to rule it out but want to make sure I ask for the right one. Chassis number will be no use at the dealer parts counter so I'm wondering if the part number would do ?

Thanks

Ken

Don't believe they are as the MAF tubes are bigger on the STi4 and the wire box is larger......

Thanks for the reply, I've decided to go for the group buy on the knock and lambda links now so I can see what's happening before going for the maf, will be taking it easy for a while.
