In a word sh1te, aka sparsh1ts. I guess you havent browsed the dealer forum too much. Worse dealer of the year awward must go to these Subaru Dealers.

You will be better off going to haslemere 'Proven' up the A3 bout 35 miles next nearest I think, they will be better than sparsh1ts.

Cheers
Daz.

Make sure they stamp the service book. They have forgotten twice in the three times I've been there.

Otherwise average service, average prices. Courtesy car for free, they've also included the odd extra job within the service for me.

Still galls me to pay in excess of £100 to them for an oil change which I could do in my lunch break... Must design myself a 'dealer stamp'!

I am sure you will get comments highly rating them..... right down to wouldnt ever use them again. The Hants mob are divided with some happy customers and others which are not.

Personally I have experienced both extremes. Two new cars bought from them (not both mine) and both had paint chips. Complete pain in the **** to get mine sorted, with no effort on their part to resolve it.... except applying a massive blob of paint when I instructed them not too.

Servicing however was always good. Always fitted in as first job so I could wait. Dodgy clutch pedal sorted when I just turned up and asked them to take a look.

No movement on the trade in price after 3 years being a customer and paying list price etc etc whilst gaining a new customer with the car it was being traded against. I now spend my money elsewhere.

I'm with Daz WRX. Proven Motor Company in Haslemere are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and charge fairly. I've had my car serviced by them for the last three years and can honestly say I have received an excellent service well above the norm. They also have the right fully synthetic oil for the turbo cars.

I know it's a bit of a trek but they will service the car while you wait unless it's a big one.

I live in South London and when i had to have the Cam Belt & service done my local Subaru dealer ( lancasters of Sevenoaks ) wanted £720 and Scoobysport &690.
When I enquired with Sparshatts who I had bought the car from they quoted £550 and did an excellent job.

I've got my STi7 PPP booked in for its 20k service with them in 10 days time.

No problems booking it in, only needed about a weeks notice to get a curtosy car too.

I've had no problems with them so far.
