Forge VTA dump valve.
#1
I have a Forge VTA dump valve which was fitted when i bought the car (2001 WRX). It came with a spare red spring, does this just change the venting sound?
Is it easy to change?

The red one is stiffer, and will lose your turbo spool up during gear change, as it wont allow as much gas to escape.
Keep the blue one.

Yellow is quite soft, and may leak boost at low revs. Really, it should make a short pshhh on let off. If its whooshing at low revs when you let off, then its probably a bit slack. Just try them all!
Some people do use the yellow, I have it in with some spacers. But going back to the blue one.
