Hi!!


I`m about to import an STI v5 type r from uk and I wonder if this car is on any exemptions after it passed SVA. Cause if itīs going to be road legal here in Sweden the car cant have any exemptions like for example; it must have an exhaust with cat etc. Well I hope you all understand what Iīm trying to say. So please help me out.

Hi Ante,

IIRC the SVA certificate is exchanged for the Registration document. So we have no certificate to send you (we have the cat btw)

I think you need to check with the authorities in Sweden to see what is required to register the car. I would also contact importers and any rally prep outfits or teams, as I'm sure they would have imported a few STi's EVO's etc and should be able to tell you what is needed.

Anyone in Sweden with an JDM STi that can help?
