Does any one know what to do with the little T piece and copper regulator thingy? I have just run the hose directly from the outlet on the top of the engine to the gauge it works perfectly put is a bit shakey if you know what I mean.

The idea is to fit the tee in an existing vac pipe, the tee should be installed so that its leg is at 90 deg to the flow, the brass restrictor should be installed into that leg and acts as a damper to eliminate the shake and noise. if you do that the problem will be solved.
