A mate of mine has had an unfortunate accident with a bit of plastic going into the turbo knackering the compressor wheel , how much is likely to cost to get the wheel replaced and the turbo balanced ??

I can give you a used/good TD05 compressor wheel for £20 ex one of my TD05/06 conversions. Balancing is £18.50 from turbosport but is is not really necessary on these turbo's as the factory component balance is maintained on assembly (unlike some other makes where balancing is essential after assembly)

PS It would be worth checking the bearings if it has been running with a damaged wheel.
