Ok, ive fitted these a number of times on previous cars. Went to fit it to my 94 WRX the other night, and came across a problem.

I blnked off the return to the air box, and removed the original DV and all hoses.

The samco hose from the Forge, which connects to the turbo pipe is too big. They supply an adapter for this, with an internal taper. It doesn't bloody fit on the hard turbo pipe though

What I did was cut some of the original pipe from the turbo hose, and fit this inside the samco one on the DV.

This works fine, but why the hell doesnt their adapter fit?! I presume the little elbow (turbo pipe) doesn't come out?

Pics of how anyone fitted this would be helpful. It also doesn't fit very well in the engine bay, as it touches the blanking plug / air return line.

Mark.... the taper that's supplied isn't supposed to go on the hard plastic elbow. The taper is suppose to go in the black bit of hose that was connecting the original DV to the hard plastic pipe.

Forgot to say that this is very simlar to the Baileys kit but their taper has a 90 degree elbow to stop it hitting the blanking plug..... unfortunatley this makes it hit the intercooler/turbo heat shield.
