I have a 94 wrx which has a scoobyecu, dawes device , k+n filter, bailey dump valve(atmos), magnex back box and straight through centre and dawes afr meter,
The problem i have is that it has started to run lumpy and hesitate when driving and the blue light stays lit on the afr meter the symptoms come and go and the car did this a couple of times before it was chipped etc, i have also tried a different(but same serial No) ecu and the problem is still there , could it be a faulty lambda sensor , how do you retrieve the codes and is there a list of what each one means ?
Thanks in advance
Matt..

Here's a few things to try:
1) Clean the boost solenoid
2) Clean the MAF sensor
3) Check the state of your plugs & the gaps (0.7mm)
4) Last resort it could be the coil packs & if so get some of those wonderful Bosch ones like i've got.
Hope this helps

I've fitted 4 new coil packs , it's got a new boost control solenoid . it's got new correctly gapped plugs so i'll try cleaning the maf sensor (but what with, brake cleaner) i did that last time but it didn't seem to cure it

looks like you've tried almost everything already
Yeah use brake cleaner & just spray it through. I'm all out of other suggestions...sorry.
