UK MY98 turbo

my steering feels heavier than normal

cross roads subaru first mentioned it when i was going to do a part-ex not so long ago. at the time it had 17's which may made it feel heavier, but i have since got my std 16's on again and it still feels heavy.

the car has had the prodrive geometry settings done. tyre pressures are normal, havnt checked power steering fluid yet, but i'm not expecting it to be low.

any idea what this could be, other than the aligment which i doubt

ive just checked the power steering fluid - all fine

anyone got any ideas?

Maybe your power steering fluid needs replacing

 

might sound facetious but you haven't by any chance just fitted a strut brace have you --> ? --> my steering felt much more heavy (but also more direct) after I fitted mine....
