Well, the guys at BRD seem to think so.......they recommended one for my forthcoming remap/Link fitting.

Thanks mate. I’ve head a re-circulating dv is better for a remap. Does the forge re-circ make any difference in the sound (from the standard dv)?

Not that I've noticed, but haven't had my Link fitted yet.

A new d/v will allow you to run more boost safely without leaking boost, the standard d/v is only rated up to 1.1 bar or something similar, wheras the Forge can go a lot higher without leaking.

Noise wise it depends on the spring inside when you install it, not sure on anything less than a Red spring (Stiffest) myself, but it gives a metallic 'ching' style noise on hard gearchanges and it chatters slightly on trailing throttle.

I've re-shimmed my own Forge and stiffened it up even more, it gives out a lovely chattery noise on anything over 0 bar

Wink

Thanks a lot … thinking ahead, I think a Forge Re-circulating is what I’ll go for.

Cheers
