just tried to fit a sti 6/7 intercooler into my 95 uk, sadly didnt fit, any one know of a good plan b

Have a word with Ian at Hayward and Scott. He's sorting me out with an adaptor to put an STi5 onto a UK'98.

only trouble is it fouls on the bulk head so it doesnt sit all the way in, also it was such a tight fit i wouldnt need a hose inbetween the throttle body and intercooler

you need to cut about 1/4 inch off the intercooler outlet to the inlet manifold/throttle body, and you also need to happer the panel around the engine manifold., you will find that it only fouling on a couple of points on the ally y piece underneath the intercooler
