Sti intercooler on 94wrx.. scoop underside??
#1
If fitting sti 5 or 6 intercooler to a 94 wrx, what do you do with the underside of the bonnet scoop?.
Obviously the std wrx one is no good (sloping intercooler)?, so can you just fit a later style straight interccoler scoop lower onto the underside of the bonnet easily?
Anyone got links to how to do it?.

Yep Johnny as done it.
Quite a few people have now and says it is better. WIble did it and then was going to help me with mine. Once you buy the intercooler, you need to make a little hose on the Y branch underneath so you can feed your dump valve on to it (if that makes sense). Im sure there was some other samco hoses (universal ones) you had to buy to make it fit.
Once you buy the intercooler, i paid another £15 for the universal samco hoses and then another £15 to make this "pipe" on the Y branch (under the intercooler) so it all works
I hope this makes sense. Failing that, check the projects forum and look at Johnny gav's post
