After a lowly 23,000 miles but coming up to 4 years old I guess I should have it changed soon (STi V)? Hope you are still awake

Mileage suggests not, but peace of mind and ageing says yes.
If you can spare the money then do it.

It's a lot cheaper than a re-build. I would do it due to the age and the possible degredation of the belt material.
